In 2022 we helped with financial support for Hope Church in Craiova, with its work church planting and amongst Ukrainian refugees. In 2023 we have not had the resources to continue our support, but it remains on our prayer list.

HISTORICAL PROJECTS:

Berindei was the destination for the majority of our material aid in the period 2008-2020.

Berindei is a large village in the Community of Daneasa, near the town of Dragonesti-Olt, in Olt County.

Our work here started in 2008, and is focussed through Dr Alina Nistor, a missionary doctor, who is part of a church planting program supported by Romanian churches from Alba County and Sibiu County.

We provided medicine, medical dressings, children's clothing and shoes, and support a regular program of holiday club activities for children of the village. We direct material aid to the schools and kindergartens in Berindei, Cioflanu and Zanoaga, where we have sent tables, chairs, white boards, 24 computers, sports and camping equipment.

From December 2013 we started a 5 year project to sponsor a nurse to carry out home visits amongst the elderly in the villages of Berindei, Cioflanu and Zanoaga.
